The first meeting of 2008 took place on Thursday 17th January in the Church hall. We had a very good turn out and were pleased to welcome several visitors who had joined us for the evening. Our speaker was Dr. Keir Fisher, who is a voluntary guide at the Burrell Museum in Glasgow and he told us a bit about Sir William Burrell and showed us a selection of slides depicting items from most of the areas of the museum.
